Oh my goodness, I can't believe I have already graduated college and am moving out of San Diego in less than 3 days...crazy! I have a cold now because of all this past weekend's family/friends/graduation/cropping excitement! Oh well, it was all worth it! The crop on Sunday with all my CSS people was so much fun! It was great to reunite one final time. They are such a fabulous group of girls whom I love so dearly :)
I have lots of crafty ideas up my sleeve at the moment, but for some reason I have yet to start things! Today John and I are headed out to be San Diego tourists for one last time. The other day we had to hit up Blick in Little Italy where I picked up a folder for my 8.5x11 papers, some 5x7" canvases for some home decor ideas, a caddy for all my little scrapping supplies, and adhesive. And then of course I had to stop by Paper Tales in Point Loma, where the cuteness is endless! There are so many things I wished I would have done while I was a San Diego resident, but I don't believe in having regrets. Who knows if someday down the road I will move back to SD? You never know!
I feel compelled to scrap all my recent photos right now. I know some people are overwhelmed by the notion of getting everything scrapped, but it invigorates my creativity! I love placing newly-finished layouts into my album - so satisfying! Gen and Cherie, I will definitely be busting out the challenges soon!

Woke up so happy...
I am so thrilled that school is almost over for me...forever! I'm about to have some free time on my hands (at least for a little while) and I could not be more excited about life! I feel encouraged by the next chapter that's coming my way, regardless of what happens. It's a good feeling...I hope all is well for you too!
So despite my insanely hectic schedule last week (thank goodness that's over!), I have become OBSESSED with making jewelry! Hence, the charm bracelet above was something I just HAD to make. I love when I find new things to be excited about! Plus, I can actually use it! I have so many ideas about different pieces I want to make. I'm thinking I need something fun for graduation next week...still working on what that will entail, but I will keep you posted :) Speaking of graduation, I need to find a dress and shoes to wear under my cap and gown...I'm thinking a cute pair of gladiator sandals and a fun dress that I can wear all summer long. Today I am hitting up Fashion Valley!

Love these challenges...
So here is my first challenge for Gen's and Cherie's weekly scrapbook challenges. I used my Glimmer mist screens to create this layout and had so much fun! I love the idea of a new challenge each week, especially from these inspiring gals!
This past weekend I went home for Mother's Day. It was my last time as a college student! The past four years have been crazy, driving home on a Friday after class/work and heading back to San Diego on Sunday night. Weekends are never long enough when you have to drive that far! But I'm a total homebody so it's always worth it to me. Plus, I love driving and I love the ritual of getting coffee off Oso Pkwy in Orange County and I love when I reach the point in the drive when I can listen to my LA radio stations. It just makes it feel like home... :) If I'm able to leave early enough, I often stop by the Irvine Spectrum for a quick Target/Pinkberry fix or Disneyland if I'm heading home with John, haha! I know I'm a big nerd, but it's the little things that make me happy!
Last Friday was my last day at work and I will definitely miss all my lovely girls! I enjoyed my time with them so much and look forward to our crop in 2 weeks! Woo! :)
But for now, I have a TON of projects to finish up if I ever want to graduate. And graduate I will!

Challenge #1
So my dear friend and co-worker Gen invited me to join her weekly scrapbook challenge group recently and I must say...I am SOOO excited! How fun is that? Not to mention the fact that we seem to gravitate towards the same style and products, she has a great design sense. So thank you, Gen!
Anywho, the challenge this week is up to me, so I decided it will be to use your favorite technique of the moment. For me, it's Glimmer Mist masks. Glimmer mist is nothing new to me, but I have recently rediscovered why it is so irresistible! I love how the results are never the same and it's just so satisfying! Of course, the beauty of this challenge is that we can do it again in a few months and have a completely different favorite technique at that time. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
